Another new concept
I decided I wanted to do an all cream colored wool design then add the color after it is crocheted. It will then get felted. I think that the color will be contained near where it gets crochet it. Thinner wool yarn?

Do frames make the art or art make the frame?
As I have started having my work become more wall art type, framing them has started to challenge the bottom line. I had been making the pieces and then finding frames or having them framed. What will this transform into?
Since I began using #burlap in my work, I found this piece at a retail store and it should become an interesting piece once I #crochet then #felt it in my old washing machine. It is dimensional with the extra burlap strips. Can’t wait to get started on it. Read more

Burlap Tree base altered
When I finished the tree I really did not think the base of the tree was finished so went back to it and added a few mossy looking puffs around the bottom. I like it much better. Read more

Tinting “Big Sky” ?
I’m trying to decide if I want to tint the burlap on this piece. I did a little trial in small section of the blue. I don’t dislike it. I plan on trying it on the earth area too. It is watered down acrylic paint. Read more
