Fiber artisan I was introduced to pre-spun fibers in my teens and found my life long fascination of the yarns. The agent to accomplish my creativity is the age old traditional tools that goes back centuries. In my learning process; I tirelessly immersed myself in the study of stitches and how using different colors, sizes…

I found these gray felt zipped bags and decided to make a crochet/felted cover for them. Here is the first one. I still will embellish it. So glad I was able to crochet then felt it to fit the pouch. The wool yarn is from #brownsheepcompany. I added a little beading around the top just…

Yes, I’m sure you all know about my felted crochet but I also do just crocheted pieces that are done in non-felting yarns. I have updated it with new items. It All Started With Crochet
-
This bag was felted about a month ago. All this needs is the shoulder strap put on it. Size of bag is 9.5” long and 7” wide.
-
Put the handle was applied to finish the bag. The size is 10”long and 9”wide. With the strap equals 25” long.
-
I don’t think I have ever shown my crochet hook arsenal. This is 95%. Some are probably with the WIP. 🤣🤣
-
Well I went a little “Psychedelic” on this piece. No drugs of any kind were used! Just a jumble of yarns. We were talking in our Tri-state Artist Guild meeting today about just taking paint and throwing it on the canvas onto the floor. This would be my response to that in fiber. I reworked…

Started working on the turquoise bag. Here it is so far. still has more to do.

This was a subtle change and probably don’t notice it too much but for me keeping it subtle is what I wanted. Would I do more vessels? Well yes I would do again. The first picture is the completed vessel. The other is just for reference so you can see the difference.
-
I’m not quite finished with this but as I was working on it the title came to me for this vessel. It’s titled “Rock Wall” vessel. I don’t want to over embellish but I have a finishing touch planned.
-
Well I’ve worked and reworked this piece several times. Adding, subtracting and manipulating. This time I think it’s done. What’s new:
-
I finished this pin. Size is approximately 3 1/2”. Orange shell parts, blue and amber beads, orange french knots and orange/ blue variegated fun fir.
-
I also decided to see if I could crochet then felt a vessel. It worked out and will add some embellishments to it. Size is 9” tall and 10” around.
