Accident or on purpose?

I made this piece the other day. I felted it and here is the outcome.

Was it an accident or did I do this on purpose?

I am gifted yarns from time to time. most know that I only request felting wool. However, I do use novelty (non-felting) yarns too. Many times the skein bands are missing so I will do the match test to be sure. Well…this time I did not test the yarn, my bad- well kind of. This time placement was in good places and now it turned into a happy accident😁. The non-felting yarn placement worked out in its favor.
