Itching to start another wall art piece. Found a teal shaded yarns and a complimentary variegated yarn. I think it’s ready to be felted. The hook size is “P” the size before felting is 17”X 17”. Read more

Michigan Fiber Festival
Got up early today and drove to Michigan Fiber Festival in Allegan, Michigan. It was fabulous!!! So many fiber vendors with yummy yarns! Everyone was nice and courteous. Thank you very much for having this event. Read more

I found these three chicken wire type of things and thought I would felt like an art bag then put it in the wire mesh as a hand bag/ art item. Then similar work in the wreath. Read more

Sand and dusty blue bag
This art bag is the first of alternating front and back post HDC . I like the visual of the stitches. Let’s hope using a P hook will bind together good. The unfelted is: 12”X 14” they look a little wonky because of the loose stitches but should square off once felted. Read more

Art show last week
I belong to an artist group (Tri-State Artist Guild) and had an art show last weekend. Here are a few pictures of my pieces. It was a two day show and was pretty well received. The establishment did not allow selling during the show but I did give out business cards. Read more

Rarely seen process
I decided to show the beginnings of my felting process. I confess the base is crocheted. Then I machine felt it. Here are three different pieces ready for the felting process. The circles might be added to the striped piece after the felting. But… might be used as a stand alone. Read more
