Finished making the base. It’s now ready for embellishing. It has been pressed and loose fibers cleaned up on the back.
-
Here is the last Leo of making the base. From here on I will be building, embellishing and beading. It still needs pressing before I begin.
-
After making the cache necklace, I will now start on a wall piece with the rest of the threads from the first threesome.
-
This came together rather quickly. The beads turned out to be just right and I had gray beads to go along with it.
-
I decided I would first make a cache necklace. I am currently sizing it and still has beading and necklace to make. Decided to make it striped. The flap is much smaller striping.
-
I rarely find I want to work on more than one project at a time but today I was looking around and found these three beauties. I also was able to get beads to work with them too. Addition of some “Pretty Punch” threads too.
-
I have been working on this piece for several months. I began the beading of it today. I still have much to do but wanted to see how it has been progressing.
-
This is still in progress but it is felted the others were all crocheted. I will show the progress of its completion here.
-
I made and felted this bag a while back. Decided to begin some work on it. You are seeing it in is raw form. It will need to be shaved, trimmed and squared up (not too much however😊). I will be adding more yarns, threads and beading. It will also need a strap.
-
This one too took on a different look as the addition of wire arches give more height and overall finished look
-
Well these took a different turn than I originally planned. This one shows that these became a base.
-
I decided to move forward with another cupcake in a series. This one is in fallish colors. As you can see these are many color directions it can turn to by the choice of accessory colors. I decided on four so have one more after this one. Then back to bigger wall art.
-
These little disks could become addictive. Quick to make and I have a lot of little yarns to mix and match. Do you like my new background? I took business card sheets and taped them together. Size is 2.5” across and 1” deep.
-
I took a short break from my doodle to let it get sized a little before moving on with it BUT I wanted to try something different so here it is. it is approximately 2.5” across and 1” deep
-
After sorting threads and yarns last week I wanted to doodle around with some colors. I picked turquoise shades to do. Still doodling along.
-
My BIL asked me to crochet his 96 year old mother a cell phone case as she keeps loosing her phone. I wanted it to be light and soft and not too colorful. I used chenille yarn for softness but with some threads running in it for durability. Colors are chocolate brown and olive green.…

Here is another neck piece. This time done in white thread with gold Mylar twisted through it. I add thread spun beads along with the thread. Necklace is assorted gold and white beads. this as the others will carry a credit card and or cash and or key fob.
-
Well working on my second neck bag. Blue and green. this one will fit a credit card or cash. I like these because they are light weight and hide a credit card or cash or even many types of car keys.
-
Well I finished the sea shell neck piece. It is approximately 3” across and 4” long. It will hold a credit card or some paper money.
