As I work on this designing using front post half double waffle stitch. I intend to weave yarns through the open spaces. Currently the fabric is soft and pliable. This would make a great clothing stitch. I wanted to have the same design on both sides so when weaving other yarns in offered the balance…

Once finished with my last two pieces I went looking for another project. At first I thought to get back into my crochet felting vibe but I love crocheting. The use of stitches to achieve the look I want plus the ease of manipulation of the fabric to form shapes inspires me constantly. The last…

Completed the one that I was working on. Frame is painted and fiberart piece is adhered to. If you can’t tell the frame is a soft sage green. I truly enjoyed the process of this one.

After finishing the weaving part of my crocheted piece, it was time to scrunch the piece up. After that’s was done I picked the frame for it. I painted the frame a soft green chalk paint. Added brass flat studs to add a little visual interest.

After looking a my finished orbs I’m getting the itch to make more. I recently bought a hand to hang a few off of them.

It’s getting bigger. I added the fine Pretty Punch threads that will be added when I get further along.

I’ve been working away at these for a couple of weeks. I dislike carrying a purse especially where I just need to hand out my business cards or have a credit card handy or a little currency on me. Or a combo of all the above😊. Securing these items this way keeps them from falling…

I finished the work on this piece but forgot it still needed to be framed. Note to self get this one framed.
-
I finished this a while back but just couldn’t decide how I wanted to frame so set it aside in this format. Today I looked at it again and said OK.

Here is the basic layout for two of three projects. Such vibrant colors! Thrilled to be working this one. so much more to plan out.

I finished this piece and it is ready for framing/mounting. I like this wood piece to put it on.

Spring is finally coming around and we set up the outside table and chairs for the summer so I decided to work outside on the current piece. It was very fun.
