Avocado orb and stand

Orb being a challenge
This one almost didn’t make it. The felting was clumsy and did not felt as deeply as it usually does not even after a second try. I decided to crochet navy blue thread and variegated thread to see if that could tie it together. It helped tremendously so am moving onto the addition of beading. Read more

Brief lapse
Well, last week I caught the flu and it was more than I expected. It lasted a week and even though I did not have congestion, lost appetite I did nave terrible chills the whole time. My fever reach 104.6 once. As quickly as it came a week later it was gone. So I am Read more

New project
Started a new project. Interesting colors. Soft green, dark green chenille, purple and light orange. lots of depth and movement. The dark iridescent sequins glint just enough that you want to look closer. Read more
