Rainbow wall canvas layout

I have the canvas cover with my crocheted/felted piece. The pictures below show the yarns, threads and bead I picked out and might be using on it.

I found some wood chips that I could visually see the layout. Plus I am considering using them as weaving boards for the colors or crochet over them for body.
