Using variegated yarn in purple, pinks, lime green and deep fuchsia colors and adding raised pieces before felting that gave hills and valleys after felting.
Took same wool and made loose French knots in those valleys then added matching beads in lines to give it a running colors around it. Added some filigree disks for interest.
