If you are taking on felting it is wise not to use your regular washing machine as a felting machine.

Below is the residue I got from just one piece I felted today.

I am blessed to have two machines, one is an old Maytag and the other is a Speed Queen washing machine that you have to empty the water into a bucket or onto the ground. Both of them work well and work similarly to each other.

I keep one at the studio and the other one at home
