Sparkletts©️ framed piece

Working with wool mesh and weaving wool through it

As I was looking at this piece it reminded me of those trucks and my uncle kept pointing out to me as we drove around our state. They were Sparkletts©️ water trucks so I named this because of the memories of my uncle.

Many years ago I received this yarn from #JennyKing and it never held its hand high enough for me to work on but a few months ago The main yarn is from #Jenny King. Crocheted it wove this then added non felting novelty yarns and felting yarns then felted it so that the none felted yarn would melt into it. After felted I again wove novelty yarns through it.

Now that I have begun to embellish it the gold disks reminded me of the Sparkletts©️ water trucks of long ago. They had the shiny disks that reflected the lights making one think of sparkling clean water. As a child we would somehow wind up behind these trucks.

As always there is my Mom’s jewelry added as a embellishment.
